Happy Ever After!

Hi everyone!

On Wednesday Primary 1 and 2 went to the theatre to watch the play "Happy Ever After" by Blue Mango Theatre. The adventures of a prince charming searching for a princess. Well yes, the princes' kiss did wake the sleeping beauty and they lived happily ever after... or did they not? Well, we witnessed the adventures of the unfortunate Prince Neville in his search for the princess he will love and marry. 

O mércores 1º e 2º de primaria fomos ao Auditorio Gustavo Freire a ver obra "Happy Ever After" de Blue Mango Theatre. As aventuras do príncipe azul na procura dunha princesa. Pois si, o bico do príncipe esperta á bela durminte e viven felices para sempre... ou non? Bueno, nós fomos testemuñas das aventuras do desafortunado Prince Neville na súa busca de atopar á princesa á que amar e coa que casar.

Prince Neville lives with his mother, the Queen. She is very persistent in him getting married with a true princess. He first meets the Princess who sleeps on seven mattresses with a pea hidden at the bottom, pea that produces her a backache. He doesn't love her. 

O Prince Neville vive coa súa nai, a Raíña. Ela é moi insistente en que case cunha princesa de verdade. En primeiro lugar coñece á princesa que dorme sobre sete colchóns que debaixo agachan un chícharo que lle produce dor de espalda. El non a ama.

The next princess he discovers is Rapunzel who lives in a castle, locked up by a nasty witch. He frees Rapunzel and even cuts a little bit her very long her, but... he does not love her either.

A seguinte princesa que coñece é Rapunzel que vive nun castelo, encerrada por unha malvada bruxa. El libéraa e mesmo lle corta un pouco da súa longuísima melena, mais... tampouco a ama.

After this, Snowhite appears in the scene and needs her seven dwarves. Our friend and classmate Emma volunteered and asked Snowhite to help her... She is the Doctor dwarf. "Hi ho, Hi ho, it's home from work we go..." But oh no... there comes the witch!

Logo disto, aparece en escea Branca de Neve  buscando  aos sete ananiños. A nosa amiga e compañeira Emma ofrécese voluntaria e pídelle a Branca de Neve poder axudala... Ela será a ananiña Doutor. "Hi ho, hi ho, it's home from work we go..." Pero oh non, aí vén a bruxa!

Finally, Prince Neville meets Snowhite after eating an apple poisouned by a terrible witch. He kisses her, she awakens and they both fall in love. He then askes her to marry him, she accepts... and they were happy ever after.

Finalmente, Prince Neville atópase con Branca de Neve despois de comer unha mazá envelenada por unha terrible bruxa. El bícaa, ela esperta e os dous namóranse. El logo pídelle matrimonio e ela acepta... e viven felices por sempre.

Once we left the theatre, Prince Neville came outside to take some pictures of all the audience that had seen him perform and we made a picture of him. How lucky!

Ao saír do auditorio, Prince Neville saiu para sacar fotos a todos os que fomos velo actuar e sacamos unha foto del sacádonos unha foto. Que suertudos!
